I had TONS of fun with this. It was much funnier than I expected and really, this totally surprised me. There’s always a gem hidden in the depths of January/February movie drought but this is a keeper.
I have this feeling I may have liked this film more than I normally would have. Jan/Feb releases are ussualy so dull, that anything cool seems even better, for lack of competition. Well at least the lack of good fare at the local cinepolex has allowed me to catch up on a lot of back releases.
[...] In Bruges - I gave it a 7.5/10 but even though I didn’t like the film nearly as much once Ralph Fiennes came to town, I think I would put it up to an 8. All the relationships with Colin Ferrel’s character were great. Harold & Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay - Originally I gave it a passing grade with a 5/10, but other than Neil Patrick Harris the film had non of the charm the first had.
