Additional Syllables: Frequently readers of my site know I love Guy Maddin. That doesn’t mean I blindly love everything the man does. Twilight of the Nymphs is a big miss in my mind. Downside, the film is dull and very long. Upside, Maddin is experimenting with color in film (I don’t think it works, but glad to see maddin stretching his abilities). If you LOVE Maddin, its a must see, if you like maddin, you can safely give this film a pass.
